WHEN WE WORK TOGETHER WE ALL GET BETTER!

Jeremiah had quite an adventure discovering a world beyond the walls of his village, Cheddarton.
Through the process he also discovered a friend, a flood, and that “when we work together we all get better.” Join him in this book designed to spark family discussions about poverty.

Now available in both picture book (for ages 3-6) and chapter book (for ages 7-10) versions, on Amazon.com.

A LETTER TO PARENTS

We’re excited to present Jeremiah Jettison and the World Beyond the Walls as we work to raise awareness of what poverty looks like and help you get involved in the fight against it.

We dream of a community with less poverty and stronger families. Poverty of any kind (relational, financial, or spiritual) keeps our community and yours from becoming the healthy, safe, and vibrant place it can potentially be.

We hope this story sparks you and your kids’ imaginations to explore the unique role you can play in the fight against poverty and the work toward a stronger community.

We encourage you to start that exploration through the Evansville Christian Life Center or one of the many other organizations working toward this goal.

About the Author

Not much is known regarding children’s author Phineas St. Clare. Born in the mid 1800’s, this pirate-turned-philanthropist explorer left on a search for Shangri-La in 1901 and was never heard from again.

His work went unnoticed until 1986, when an entire library of his manuscripts was discovered within a monastery crypt in Evansville, Indiana. These stories are currently being preserved and released publicly.

Jeremiah Jettison and the World Beyond the Walls is the first volume of this project.
